    Results: A little faster than the 8800GT, about the same as the 9800GTX. Great performance for the price. The other RV770 cards, the HD 4870 and HD 4870x2 (with up to 2GB of GDDR5) are what to look out for now.

    Looks good, though I'm starting to think the 3870 will cane everybody's asses. nVidia's answer to it (the 9800GTX+) is hardly better than the 4850, so they're in for a kicking.

    the 4850 looks good, but it runs waayy too hot. Almost boiling temperatures (90+ degrees C!) and almost no overclockability because of it. Then again, it's only a single slot cooler.
