I recently bought the 128M Fire Linker flashcart at DealExtreme for games that require saves.

The included CD was scratched and blank (supposedly the software has a trojan anyways...), so I've been trying SPlink with no luck. I set my LPT port to EPP as instructed, connected my GBA SP, ran the software, selected a rom, hit burn, turned the SP on (using Select + Start), but nothing happens, the progress bar just keeps filling up repeatedly until I hit Stop. I've tried 3 roms (Advance Wars 2, Monkey Ball Jr., and Mario Kart).
I searched the forum, but found nothing. Is there a way to test the LPT Fire Linker cable? Am I missing something?
