I'm having trouble getting the Fan translation that's going around for Fire Emblem IF (JP) to be fully translated in the parts that it should be. I've tried redownloading the files but for whatever reason when I check the DLC maps or go around the castle to talk to people none of it is translated. For the most part it seems only certain menus and the main game text is translated.

If anyone thinks they could possibly help me out just shoot me a PM as I believe this isn't the place to be discussing this as there are CIA's involved.

Only the menus and main story are fully translated. Otherwise, everything else is either partially translated or not translated at all.

Really? Didn't the people who made the actual patch state that the DLC and even some of the support was translated? I could've sworn I saw it say that.
Those are partially translated. Some supports are done, but most of the supports aren't translated yet. Same goes for the DLC as a few of them are compeltely translated, some partially finished, and the rest not translated yet.

Were they ever planning to make a update to the translation that has the good bulk of it translated or do you not know? By which I mean the DLC, Support and what not.
They're still being worked on. Fan-translations can take a while to do and can last for years. Just be patient. They'll be released someday.

In case you haven't noticed yet, I'm part of the fan-translation team. And no, I won't give any more specific details on our progress. It may sound rude, but that's just how it is.

Oh no, I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by it and I apologize if I offended you. No I'm actually very excited about the translation and hoping they go all out with the finished product. And if that means good quality work takes a good deal of time then I'd happily wait patiently for it.

I hope I didn't come across the wrong way with what I was asking.

even ecchi manga dont show nipples nowadays
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
I'm reading several that do atm. x'D
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
even it looks cool, i still hate smoking and i always hated smoking
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
    They're seinen though.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
But yeah, it also has to do with the fact that stuff are more sexualised

    now
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
even at seinen i am reading, the only one that shows nipples sometimes is Oversized Sextet
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Like, Urusei Yatsura, I love the manga and the original anime.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
In the original rumiko takahashi works, nudity was common
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
i still havent read the manga. also surprisinly i like both the new and the old anime adaption.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Lum being topless and Ranma always topless when turning female wasn't sexual
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
also the old anime adaption of Urusei Yatsura had more fanservice than the manga
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
That's one of the issues I have with ecchi stuff recently, it focuses too much on the sexual aspect, not the comedy effect.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
The manga had it's fair share.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
I mean, Lum was supposed to be a one time character
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
ecchi anime focusing too much at fanservice was always a thing
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Rumiko Takahashi got so much fan email about the character that she brought her back in the manga, it was going to be completely different originally (with the alien of the week type).
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
also i m a takahashi fan and i love ranma
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
There are different ways of fanservice
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
the first manga I bought, was Psychic Academy, when I was like 12?
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
    That was good 2000s ecchi
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
    Great plot too
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
psychic academy. lol. it was meh even back then when i bought volume 1. also same author also made one of the manga adaptions of Escaflowne.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
    Pfffft!
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
    I have all the volumes.
Skelletonike @ Skelletonike: I have all the volumes.
