Hacking Finding out game ID's

Is there any tool out there that can help me identify a ROM's ID? I need to know the game id of a rom that i modified in order to update my usrcheat.dat because it was unable to read the cheat for that game..

what i meant was, before, i unpacked a rom then changed something inside it then repacked it again.. but the cheat database no longer shows the cheat for that game.. i learned that when i repacked the rom, the game id for that specific game changed so the cheat file no longer recognizes it unless i change the game id of that game inside the usrcheat.dat..
