Hardware finding a GBA Micro in Tokyo area?

I'd really like to have a GBA Micro, but I can't find one anywhere in the Tokyo area.

New, used, anything would be okay.

Any suggestions? Anyone seen any anywhere?

I was hoping to locate one in a shop somewhere, if someone has seen one.

I've seen SPs out the wazoo, but not any micros. Kind of odd.

Try a local pawn shop for one. Other place is the Aki something place, I don't remember the name.

Regarding ebay, frankly 200 bucks is more than I want to spend, plus it would require international shipping to Japan.

I just wanted to find a used one somewhere in Tokyo. I figured that would be possible, but I haven't found one despite some looking.

I hoped someone here could help me, but I suppose nobody lives or frequents Tokyo on this board.

I got one for about 80 aus in Akihabara a few weeks ago, Once there go to electric city and you should be able to find a cheap micro in nearly every second store, the one i got was one of the final fantasy ones to so i was extra pleased

You could use the Japanese amazon (it has an "In English" option). I've done a little searching and came across this one (which says it can be bought new for 12,000 yen:

Every second store? A Micro, not an SP?

Ok so not every second store but there where alot of them. The Micro i picked up was brand new and there where several others selling the same type. It was Definitely a micro, i purchased a normal Miro back there in October and i got my final fantasy one a few weeks ago, hardest thing for me has been finding chargers for them back in aus as i'm to lazy to get a voltage converter

your best bet is the side streets. there are a lot of second hand resellers there. i bought my ps3 from a 2nd hand seller. and i trust them with everything. japanese people look after their stuff.

your best be is to find the KFC in akiba and across the the street from it. (it is a small ally) there is a 2nd hand games store. will have a GBAm and all the games you need in there.

I spent a while this afternoon going in big stores, small stores, both used and new. In each one I asked if they had any micros, and when they didn't I asked them to recommend where I should go to find one.

My Japanese isn't the world's greatest, but it's certainly good enough to negotiate this.

In all of my searchings I found one micro (at a largish used store on the main drag called "Trader"). It was a Final Fantasy one, which is the only one I really don't want seeing as I'm not a big fan of the series and replacement faceplates are next to impossible to locate. They told me it was the only one they had.

What the hell?! Where are all of these stores that are literally everywhere selling these things that everyone seems to have been to?!
