I been saying for a while, the only true way for JoyCon Jig is doing the pin1 and 10, and now here is the tweet that proves my point:

So get with the program, do JoyCon bending right, or don't do it at all! :)

(BTW, I tried the embed a tweet, but it told me invalid URL)

This is all so confusing. We seem to be rapidly rotating between recommended methods - what's the best for someone who has no idea how to solder?

Jigs suck unless you make them yourself. I ordered 2 from eBay and neither of them work. I have to keep using my copper wire until I solder something.

Fair enough - would it be just as good to hold a paperclip and stick it onto pins 1 and 10 (much easier to carry around)

I gave up worrying about the best and just use what works without fail. No matter what we recommend ppl always tend to bring the cons of what you use. Auto rcm is the only way out of this mess

....you know autoRCM can effectively brick your console right

Personally, I'm going to wait for a non-jig method to load homebrew.

Why haven't they updated to do the same thing if it detects 1 and 10? That would ruin all the jigs if you updated

I mean.....I'd be careful with that, it's SHOCKINGLY easy for the brick to happen.

I'd rather carry around a jig with me then have to avoid letting my battery hit 0% with the consequence being basically a full brick.

That ended up not being true. Even if your battery completely dies with AutoRCM installed, you will still be able to trickle charge it enough to re-enter RCM and load a payload.

    AutoRCM is generally safe.

b/c putting foreign objects in the switch damages it in some form or manner is why I brought up software rcm, are we not in the same thread?
