Though, THEY CAN make games capable to do patches. How? Via Save Files. Just design the game to search for patches in the Wii's save memory (named XXXX, numbered from 0 to 9999 or just less, 999). It's really not a problem to design this at all.

Oh well, download contents coming from Nintendo, firstly is WiiWare...now it's downloaded content (DLC)...
My suggestions for Nitendo:
a) Does that mean we'd get match making service from Nintendo (submit your wii friend code, press ### for a random mate)?
c) Can we attach a USB HDD to the usb port of wii to save game patches or get a 8GB SD card as storage space?

It's gettting hard to differentiate truth from rumours and vaporware.
