how do you turn mini in final fantasy? do I have to take of the perfect status How do I do that?
without restarting my game?

I don't know what you mean by "perfect status", but in order to go mini all you have to do is make your white mage cast the spell "mini" on all your characters (menu>magic>choose_your_white_mage>mini>all party members). I can't remember right know who is suposed to give you the spell in one of the towns, but you should be talking to everyone you see anyway. You don't have do do any quest or anything.

mini is given to you by this elf you see in the woods, the patch of trees at the norther side just walk into them and you will enter an area with 3 ponds one on the east, one in the west and on to the north of you and the elf is right there in front of you.

i mean that even if I get poison i heal from it in a second (is mini supposed to stay on as an infliction to your status?)

Yes. Some status "ailments" stay and some don't.
stay: mini, frog, poison, petrified...
don't stay: sleep, confusion, haste...

mini is given to you by desch after you save him from the nest.

ok i took out the always good status it still wont stay on the mini what do I do next?

do you have enough mp to cast mini? when i was up to that part i could only cast it twice and then i would have to drink the water by the gnome to replenish it.
