So how does it compare to FFXIII?
I think I'm just going to do the story on FFXIII and skip the extras and side quests ready for this.
There are like 10 games I want in the next 3 months and I don't want another back log like I've just nearly caught up with!
Right, as far as i know and have seen,
1. there are loads of side quests all over the world rather than being all just compressed into the archlyte steppe.
2. There are loads of mini-games too, i've seem chocobo racing and its pritty good also the paradox puzzles where you have to run across dissapearing blocks is an ok mental excercise
3. You can actually jump at free will! by pressing B/O. I hated how you could only jump on the spots in XIII
4. You can change leader during battle. Will be very helpful later on in game
5. The live action events are everywhere, changing terrain and even the whole story based on decisions you have to make all throughout the game. Theres 1 in the demo as i've seen
6. The monster taming is also a great addition to spice up the fighting gameplay. The monsters also seem to have paradigm abilities like medic, ravager etc along with thier live action special moves, they can be upgraded like the main characters but with items you find, not exp it seems
7. The crystalium has changed a bit. I cant really discribe it tbh
8. You switch between gameplay between the super powered up Lightning and Noel, Serah and mog.
9. I dont seem to see Sazh anywhere in this game, while hope and snow are definatly making appearences. BRING BACK SAZH!
thats all i can think of right now
