Supposedly, Square Enix has released some pre-E3 footage of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, only it's no longer called Versus XIII but instead is now being labeled as Final Fantasy XV and it will be coming to the PS3 and Wii U.

According to German site Zocking Extreme, they warn that they have no idea where the actual video comes from and can't confirm its source. The YouTube video has lots of dislikes and is consistently labeled as "Fake".

You can see the video and judge for yourself. Check it out.

IMO this has the word fake written all over it

Here's why it's (probably) fake:

-It looks like it's filmed in a university lecture hall.
-Uses characters/footage from FF XIII VS
-The CERO rating symbol, yet there are English subtitles.
-The crowd clapping/cheering looks/sounds fake and looks timed.
-No Xbox? Please.

And... it just looks kinda fake.

wasn't versus a ps3 exclusive anyways? I thought they weren't going to do another 3 disk game for the 360

To be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if Versus was renamed to XV, because it doesn't really have much in common with XIII.
Also, they renamed Agito XIII to Type-0, so this could indeed get a name change.

This rumor as a whole seems unlikely but I don't see why people would be more surprised that it'd be on the Wii U and not the Xbox 360.

The Wii U has essentially Bluray-level storage capabilities meaning you won't be stuck with a 3-4 disc game. Also Final Fantasy sells a lot in Japan. Xbox 360's don't sell a lot in Japan. Nintendo consoles sell a lot in Japan. So if you can have a Nintendo console that you can put a Final Fantasy game on without much sacrifice, then that all works out.

But I would trust this rumor as far as I can throw it, and you can't throw virtual content unfortunately.
