Hacking Final Fantasy III Wi-Fi Connection (R4)

Hi there

I just recently bought a DS Lite with an R4 DS card. I am playing Final Fantasy III, and I read in a forum that I can get the onion knight job if I send mails to 7 friends using mognet. For this, it requires to connect using the wifi connection. Do you guys know if I can use the Wifi connection with this game??? Is it safe???

yes you can connect to wifi
worked on my m3
if you dont want to connect wifi to do that
there is a cheat code so you can get 99 mail sent

Make Sure You Didnt Trim the game you wont be able to connect online

It will be fine. The ROM is basically indistinguishable from a retail cart, and your Wifi code will be dynamically generated and will be completely unique. There is no risk.

And trimming the rom will be fine, so long as you use a trimmer which will not break wifi functionality, such as NDSTokyoTrim.

thanks! my rom was trimmed, but i tried anyways, It worked just fine, and i now have the onion knight. Thank you guys for helping me out
