just out... don't have the nfo but i guess they fixed the bug?
dude thats not a bug its a protection thing by SE why still people thinking its a bug ?

i'm sorry but i've played it for hours in both single and multiplayer (hugecock release) on an unaffected brand of flashcart. i like the kind of protection where i wouldn't have even noticed it save from reading these forums.

it IS a copy protection, the game seems to be checking for some ram states on the NDS.

Also for the lamer that said that there are bugs whenever you put a US rom in a european NDS, you'd better know that nothing can happen because beside the packaging and a few stickers, all NDS are identical worldwide, even the bioses are the same. (when of course it is the same NDS model (such as DS lite) and that they were issued at approx the same period.)

They even released a new kernel to fix Miami Nights: Singles in the City, so they are obviously trying to fix a heavy title like a FF, its a matter of time, so lets just be patient.

Just pretend it wasn't released yet and play some of the many other nice games that DS has meanwhile.
PS: FF4 was also released with R4 sabotage, and they fixed it.

That's not true. That one really was a firmware/kernel issue and had no earmarks of being an anti-piracy measure. If you went back and played it on 1.08 and 1.09 it worked fine. But you're right, the R4 team did fix it pretty quickly with a kernel update.

Has anyone tested it on their M3Simply? I I know it is manufactured by the same company who made R4DS, and although the architecture of the chipsets are practically similar, the firmware revisions are different, maybe we might obtain different results?

Ah, I see. Thanks for the reply. I guess we have no choice but to wait for a firmware update for each of our flash carts. Well, we still got tons of DS games to finish up anyway

Thank you for your support.
end email.
