Gaming FIFA 18 crashing after World Cup update :(

Does anyone have a good solution for fixing the problem with FIFA 18 crashing after EA released the World Cup update a few weeks ago? At first, only international matches in career mode (qualifiers, tournaments) crashed when I tried to play them so I had to sim the matches. After a few days, games in the Champion's Cup started doing the same, and now even league matches crash. :cry:

According to some people online, you can do a temporary "fix" deleting the peronal profile, but sometimes it only helps for 1 game and most of the times not at all.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
