Hi,
We currently want to understand basics of game, mostly gameplay menus so its playable for you.
if we finish this phase 1, we'll delve into story. (any comments?)

So I take pictures of game and post them on this first post and when i get translation of a picture, i'll edit that pic and replace the Japanese with translated English one.

decided to do another way:
there will be one file of untranslated pix and set of archives of translated ones,
this will help to not to have a heavy page and consumes time, since i'm on dial up.

(we appreciate if anyone helps us to actually translate the game files too, i know most of ppl here are already familiar).

i'll take pix and put it in Untranslated, but they are like identical to old FFTA games, since i could beat some guys without knowing anything. trial and error for some time.

give me a bit more time, working on the last ones now, but i have trouble with some of the weapon names

p.s. i didnt get more into game itself, is it ok with you guys to do little more of story? from intro till after first battle?

if anyone gives me their save files, i can take pix, since i dont have most of items and they are very important to hvae translations.

another thing, should I keep the images at full size or make a thumbnail out of each one? since it may make the page so heavy.

Warbird's translations seem good. Most are better than mine. My flatmate wasn't actually all that helpful, haha. I thought that was "exchange" or "trade" (Chinese is my second language, and Japanese is a distant third) or something on the title screen, but he just kept saying it's not really proper Japanese, so I just wrote "Wifi".

But is that one about the law "no jumping allowed"? Or "no projectiles?"

well, i havent played it yet, so some translations were kind of hard without a real context.

Looking at that translation again, it seems "No projectile weapons" would be correct (japanese use the same word for fly and jump...)

and ?? (???? - koueki) is a real word

Yeah, I know. but as you said, great bow souned better than strong bow. I havent played too many FF games, so I'm not too sure about all the special FF words though.
