So i sent back my 360 like a month ago because it gave the 3rlod and i got it back all fixed up, ive hardly used it this month. Then i start playing gta 4 then it cracks out and i turn off the 360, turn it back on and yet again another bunch of 3rlod. What a load of shit.

I'm so fucked off, whats the point in them saying theyve tested it rigoursly for 2 hours when its clear they havent because its died again.

oh and the modder took the warranty sticker off so now i am completly fucked.

I guess microsoft doesn't do the X-clamp fix.

If i was you, I'd do the X-Clamp Fix.

The x-clamp fix isn't permanent. It helps for a little bit (sometimes up to a year if you're lucky) but the real undoing is the lead-free solder.

I just dont see why i wasted my time with them. I thought if i sent it to microsoft im sure theyd be able to fix it properly but obviously not. Looks like ill have to find someone who can fix it for me.

It actually wasn't sarcastic. The x-clamp fix is just a band-aid. You are putting pressure on a cracked board so that it holds together again. It's not really mechanically sound and it won't last.

plus it voids your warranty, so if it doesn't work you have to shell out the $$$ for a whole new system

They say, Microsoft just replaces you with a already RROD"ed" Xbox 360. So, if you send it in, they just pick one out, and send you one thats been sent for a RROD fix. So, try the X-Clamp
