I've updated my Emunand from firmware 6 to 8.01 it sits on a fat32 hidden partition...all went well but a few questions I wasn't sure about ?

1) It asked if I wanted 8.01 or 8.01 exFat, I selected just 8.01 as I don't intend to use exFat ....what is the difference ?

2) There is now a file on the root of my SD card called hekate_ipl.ini , is this stopping a controller update ? and can I delete it and any corresponding files it relates too ?

many thanks :)

1) ExFAT allows you to use micro sd cards with exFAT format. FAT32 has a file size limit of 4GB, exFAT has a file size limit of 16 exabytes. Keep in mind you should use FAT32 because exFAT is known for corruption issues. Therefore, you don't really need that update.
2) Don't delete the ini file. I think it's blocking the cartridge slot from being updated.
