I just watched Fear and Loathing for the first time, so

"We can't stop here. This is bat country"

"Buy us some golf shoes, otherwise we'll never get out of this place alive!"

    "Oh god! What's that?"

"Is this not a reasonable place to park?"

    "There I was...
Mother of God, there I am! Holy fuck..."

    "Come on you fiend!"

"Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?"

Loved Fear and Loathing. If you enjoy reading you should pick up the book, if you thought the movie was mad it's nothing compared to the book! The movie is really faithful and all it's just that the book contains "thoughts" he wrote down while smashed out of his skull. There's a documentary coming out soon called Gonzo which is all about Hunter S Thompson.

you really have not ever watched a movei until you have seen fear in loathing

some realyl twisted shit it is, but you gotta love depp and benicio

"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. "

"We had two bags of grass,
    seventy-five pellets of mescaline,
five sheets of high-powered blotter acid,
    a saltshaker half-full of cocaine,
and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, laughers, screamers...
Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls.
Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon. "
