Favorite SSBM Character

Falco FTW! His side-A attack totally owns. My awesome strategy with Falco-

1. get close to opponent, just close enough for them to hit you with a strong attack

3. wait for person to use a strong but slightly slow attack (like say, a smash attack)

4. roll to the side the opponent is not facing, right before the attack hits (roll= L+ tilt joystick left or right); if you didn't know how to roll, you've been missing out on a lot of pissing ppl off my friend

5. quickly use the side-A attack! Make sure you don't charge up, just use the attack.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 until either they die, or (if you're facing a real person) the actual person attacks you out of frustration

That would only work against someone who was really, really bad.

Maybe, none of my friends are good...

But it's pretty useful cuz even if you stop the strong attack when Falco rolls, you'll be immobilized for a tiny bit, just enough time for Falco to own him!
I never use this against computers though cuz they're so stupid. They always come towards u, so I just charge up a smash attack and wait until they're right next to me. Then I pwn!

Thats a lame falco tactic O.o You'r suposed to jump shoot alot , and jump shoot to catch or shine.. I'm a great falco user , Even though people gave me 5 on Smash Boards >< But thats cus thier like supa pros and I use falco only 3 days by now..
I used to play fox but his too hard , And falco is much more fun to annoy people (XD) .. I hope fox will jump higher on SSBB And have a stunning gun..

Zelda is kinda awsome too , I as a shiek user(a little) use her alot when coming back!

Not exactly best, but very powerful indeed. And the thing about SSBM-noobness.. yeah.. I could pretty much tell from some of the stuff people said lol. I was going to post something where not-so-good smash players can look up and become better.. but oh well. More players for me to beat when Brawl comes out.

I was hoping more people would vote and comment so I get to see if anyone else in gbatemp is a smash geek like I am haha.

Luigi! You can't beat that air game.

I personally hate his dash attack and his horrible horizontal recovery. But besides those, I've managed to get him to at least go toe-to-toe with my friend's Fox...Dair and Fair are my greatest allies. I also love breaking some enemy attacks with a simple fireball!

I also used to main Mario as well, though I somehow seem to be better with his brother. Can't beat cape-ing someone's up-B so they die.
