I think nowadays rap is getting bad press because of the whole south/gangsta/crank/grills/rims/.. crap thats being churned out every second.

Those songs take 5 seconds to make, just a combination of a synthesized beat and a cheap hook. I heard one the other day "ay bay bay", wtf is that supposed to mean.

I'd have to agree with hanman in that pretty much all rap sucks. Talking about how good you are, money, gangster themes etc. just makes me sick.
