hi I am new here, I am a technician and in my free time I repair Nintendo Switch and all sorts of devices for friends and family.
U guys helped me already a lot with your Posts about hardware faults and self re engineerd Schematics rly great !

Currently I have a switch with a not yet known error.

I think the switch had a hard reset. After power it on the it shows the Nintendo Logo - Then The Red Switch Logo then the screen with insert Joycons then network - parents control - date - and then as seen in the picture "the console is ready now press the home button" and right there it didn’t continue. the home button does not work. The Joycen itself is ok. I tried other joycons , same fault. can you help me what the fault could be?

Some thins I forgot to tell

-Reset dosnt work ( Power an + / - Volume ) nothing happens
-Once I put in my Network Settings i got an Error Code (2168-0002)

Greetings Christian

I bet the pin in the rail is bent or kerosene on the connector on either end stopping the home button to register
