XSEED's Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star has been delayed from its initial winter 2016 launch date, and now will be coming sometime early next year. To compensate for the delay, XSEED has announced a collector's edition for the game, "Noble Phantasm Edition" which will cost $69.99 (PS4) or 59.99 (PSV). The special version of the game will come with a hardcover artbook with over 100 pages of illustrations, 16 cards featuring the playable characters in the game, and a 24x17 poster. The European version hasn't gotten a delay announcement yet, but it's likely at this point.

Nooooo! Wait, so as compensation for the delay, there will now be a version I can buy that costs even more?

Samurai Warrior game mechanism has been implemented in so many franchises, i love it though.

there is also that Berserk one, fate extella is looking fantastic.

what are these type of games called though? and am i wrong to think that it all started with samurai warrior games?

it was so long ago when i played this style of game, back in the ps2 era.. it was Samurai Warriors i think.. and i could ride on horses etc.

    Your mom's basement.
This will probably be the first PS4 game I'll ever preorder.

Advertising for winter is misleading. Games hardly ever release between December 20 and December 31.
