Hey guys, what's the fastest 8GB memory card for the PSP slim in the market now?

Is it the Sandisk 8GB Ultra II?

I made a thread with pretty much the same title a few days ago

    Here is the link.. http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=92606

I just got 2 4GB Lexar Platinum II's and a 1GB Lexar Platinum II for the magic memory stick.

Total was 101 and some change 2 day shipping from Frys.

The thread you mention still won't say what the fastest 8GB MS Pro Duo is though. Instead people agree 2 4GB cards are the better option.

As stated in that thrwad too, personally I prefer one 8GB MS Pro Duo so I won't have to take it out. From what I've seen so far, the SanDisk 8GB Extreme III's are the fastest 8GB's atm, but they're very expensive ($125/€100).

SanDisk 4GB Ultra II's are more affordable, but I'm unsure if the lower speeds compared to fast 4GB ones is gonna make a real difference in gameplay.

I'm still not sure why people are hung up on what the "fastest" card is

shouldn't you just be worried about which cards are fast enough to run games?

I'm playing God of War on my dealextreme 8gb fake with no issues at this moment

    [blackSPEED v2 log]

supposedly a slow card, yet plays God of War just fine
