Hardware Fan Wont Turn Off Even with unit off

Hey guys, recently I bought a water damaged switch lite, I enjoy fixing them and find it a fun hobby. However, this unit has thrown me for a loop. I got it all cleaned up (bit of corrosion here and there), got it working great, except when I turn the unit off, my fan ramps up to full and wont shut off. any ideas what my be causing this?

Guessing one of the components gone, something that is responsible for switching it off. Check around fan connector, check resistors for continuity and touch up any affected joints that might have corrosion.

Sounds like a short. Depends on where it is that's causing it. I would start tracking from the fan and work backwards to the SoC.
