I love the Famicom SP, you can always transplant the guts from a 101 into it also.
I have one but its sorta worn out looking....need a mint one for the collection. :yaysp:

You could get a Famicom SP, then get a regular backlit AGS-101 SP, then replace the insides of the Famicom SP with the AGS-101, which will result in a backlit Famicom SP.

That's what I'd like to do, but all the AGS-101 systems seem to sell for more than the Famicom SP. D:
What? Hm... I'm off to get a Famicom SP then...

Aren't there two Famicom SPs? One with gold details (as on a real Famicom) and one more common model, with grey or white details (not sure which).

I do not mean the NES model.

Indeed there are!

Here's the common one:

This is the much less common one:

EDIT: Heh. 'Common' is a subjective term. Both are uncommon, the second one much more so.

Snagged a broken Famicom SP for $30.
I'll swap the shell out with one of my scratched up silver SP's.
Going to keep looking for a decently priced Famicom micro, though.
:D
Off ebay? I was looking at that one, but it looked a little beat up.
I think I can buff out the scratches.

There's a nearly new one up now starting at $100, and the rarer gold version is selling for $400 :O

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
