    Hi,

I have been considering buying a Taiko drum for Wii...

The real one will set me back $60 + $30 shipping...

The fake one will set me back $33 with free shipping...

Has anyone had any experience with the fake or real Taiko drums?

Is the real one really worth the extra cash?

I got the real one, but I sold it a few years ago.
Can't comment on the fake one.

I have the fake one. It's not very responsive, honestly. The surface of the drum seems to be just a whole bunch of buttons with a layer of...whatever it is over it. You have to hit it pretty hard to register. The edge isn't exactly great either. It also slides around while playing since you have to hit it so hard if you don't do anything to prevent that. Still, it's fun, I suppose.
