Hacking Fake R4 shows games as corrupt

Some time ago I got a fake R4 (pic related) and it'll just show my games as corrupt no matter what I do so I gave up. Now I want to play FE12 on my DS in english so I decided to give this a go again. Can anyone possibly help me get this running?

I recall buying it from USAHOTSTUFF. If I have any more info, it's that I got Soul Silver and The World Ends With You to briefly boot once. But they didn't save. I tried the latest WoodR4 firmware and the official R4 firmware but only the Wood one works but the games show up as Corrupted DS Program File. I don't know what other info to give. If I can give it I will.
