I´m creating fake homebrew games. I´ll then send em to Ds-X and what does all of the homebrew have in common?
    1. Fake
    2. Can´t create 2M Flash saves

It´s not that hard, when one know how to make it...

Also, in the other topic, they said Zelda used 4M Flash.
    Can anyone confirm this?

too bad no homebrew actually uses EEPROM for saving, I don't think they will be fooled [IMG]

There are only two things I'm aware of that use EEPROM:
    1. commercial romz
    2. homebrew designed to copy the savegames from actual DS carts

So what's the best thing to do with an idea about making fake homebrew to trick the cart makers into coding a fix? Telling everyone about it.

Then again, even if you didn't say anything, I hardly think this would work. I mean, don't you think it'd be odd if they went searching for these homebrew games only to turn up nothing, or worse, this topic?

On the other hand, there really is no consequences to this idea, other than possibly looking like an idiot but who cares about making an ass outta yourself, as support has been pretty shitty anyways. So I say go for it.

[IMG] Lesseeee...Only time the Ds-X crew was here. Was about the start of the Ds-X release. Even then, they didn´t post much.

But hey, i say it´s worth a freaking try. At least i´m doing SOME effort to show my support or a cry for getting the company to uptade.

Oh gee thanks for that... [IMG]
Might as well ask a mod to remove all trace of this. [IMG]

Why did i do this in the first place? [IMG] To get there attention!

Now stop being so damn negative and support it instead! [IMG] [IMG]

    Spread this stuff like crazy.

Go onto other forums and claim that these homebrew files can only be found on a special (maybe insanely high pay access only/secret members/ no boyz alowded?) server or something. Then some of us can follow you and agree & "confirm" this with you. Build up hype for this badboy and then tell all the "followers of the forbidden homebrew"" that it can't be played until the team gets off their asses and implements the shit. Tell them all the send a non-stop barrage of mail to the DS-X team demanding the implementation! wewt.

Just make sure your fake games have decent size to look legit.

But I personally wouldn't play homebrew games sent to me by unknown person.

Before you continue, I would like to note AGAIN (it's like the third time I say this) that DS-X already supports 2 Mbit (Mario Kart, Metroid PH, SimCity DS JPN, Hoshigami JPN, many others) AND 4 Mbit saves (Pokemon D/P). It in NOT a save size support question, but a PROTECTION check on Zelda, SimCity EUR/USA and Hoshigami USA.

Why would you make a fake homebrew game anyway? Just be totally annoying? I don't mean to be harsh but its tw*ts like you that make fake crap like "Manhunt 2 (PAL) (DORANDO)".
