*fake* First homebrew Wii game

Wab is really proud to bring you the first and only Real WII Homebrew.
This release is called WABTRIS, a small tetris cover, WIIMOTE powered !!!
Stay tunned for the soon coming source code of it...

you just have to decompress, burn the iso, and boot it with ANY modchiped WII, and follow the instructions.
remember this is an "autobootable" dvd image, so you won't go to channel menu !

Some reports are calling this a fake. Saying WAB put it up to annoy people in #wiidev


edit: despite myself searching to see if someone else had already posted this before I did and finding nothing I just saw in Wii- Hacking that someone posted it. So you guys can close this one if you want.

Did these guys even watch the video demonstrating the cracked key? Any Wii homebrew will boot like a Wii game and probably feature an existing game disk ID especially if it's using a drive chip.

Yeah the autoboot thing is what make it sound fishy. Also you'll notice the "B" in wab looks like a photoshopped "R".

So they probably just photoshopped a wartris screenshot

The autoboot does not sound all that farfetched, remember the Wii has to load something when you put the disc in in order to show you the channels icon, since we have the keys, we can make signed code for that that intercepts it and loads a program. Sounds very real to me.

you can autoboot a wii disc... it only displays the health display, but after this u will not go to wii menu... gamestarts.
