why do some wads give me failed error?
ret -1022 or something... most work - for instance - strong bad episode 1-4 work fine but episode 5 gives me failed to install!

what do the error codes mean? thought it might mean I have no space on the wii so I moved all channels to SD card till i had over 500 blocks free but still get the error...
the wads are pal and so is the wii. I am up to date on my hacks.
Also I payed for these games but cannot get my wii online as only have Ethernet access and no wifi at the moment (and probably wont for the next year or 2 till I pay off these damn bills!) so can only get the wads off my pc and put them on my sd card to install on my wii so I am not pirating.

    4.2 pal wii
    bootmii boot2
    hbc
    wanin cios and mplayer cios

any help would be greatly received with a big smile [IMG]

Well, myself I use MultiMod Manager to install my wads. MMM is set to use IOS249 (Rev19 Base37). When this setup fails, I change MMM's setting to use IOS36.

-1022 = bad wad. More specifically, it means the wad has a problem with the ticket. Typically, it's because the person who made the wad did not re-sign it. You can fix it on your PC using the wwPacker tool (the "JustSign" option).

If you don't want to do that, just get another wad.

Well you've probably tried them by now, but yeah.
