Wow its all happening so fast.. compared too.. heh.
I just asked Shiny about N64 too but I guess it shouldn't be a problem if it can handle PS1 and Dolphin. DC and PPSSPP should be good also.
Looks like I may have to find and bend me some wire.. ;)

Woah, nice. But why there's no sound?

I guessing it's not implemented in that Switch Linux build yet?

I guess so. Did any end user already got linux with a GUI (desktop) running, or are f0f and the Dolphin devs the only ones?

    Amazing times ahead for sure.
Now if only we could get a libnx port of RetroArch, we could see these working natively without the Debian OS taking resources :P

Yes. I think Retroarch is still the better option.
Seeing these Emulators on Linux sets a good benchmark of what we can expect eventually with Retrarch. :)
Although I can see me using Linux quite a bit once it's more user friendly and has sound/joycon setup.

Now instead of the Debian OS taking resources, the Switch OS takes resources.
Also, no swap, so if you run out of RAM, that's it. However, in Linux, you have as much ram as you have much swap.

Also, no open source drivers and cooperative multitasking on Switch OS, so you can't run multiple programs on Switch OS, so for example, you can't have RetroArch and a guide on GameFAQs open at the same time.

Linux offers more flexibility and easier programming for compared to Switch OS.

Really just sound is lacking atm, Joycons can be setup via bluetooth in Linux easily.

Well, I take back what I said about F0F. Glad they're finally contributing to a scene.

On the other hand, will anyone be making and selling the 3D printed jigs?

You can probably install retropie on one of these now.. just need an arm core version of dolphin to be added to the repo and werew off! Easily my favourite emulator management system.

Anyone try using their stuff to get Linux for Tegra booting? Some of the stuff might work.

Just be careful not to overwrite your eMMC. I haven't gotten a cable yet to mess with stuff properly. My hardmodded "port" isn't something i want to use to do this stuff.

    Very slowly.

From what i can gather the L4T Drivers are officially certified for ubuntu 16.04LTS?

I presume their next release is going to up the kernal to 4.15 for use with Bionic Beaver?
