It's way to addictive for most people to be able to handle it. Also, with all the stupid plug-ins/add-ons, it's becoming more and more like MySpace, which isn't a good thing. Oh yeah, then there is the whole Google thing...

but i still use it with high privacy settings.

I'm on it as my missus put me on it! And now I keep getting friend requests from people who know her and I've apparently met but I have no idea who they are. Also getting requests from ex's...yes that one as well.

Can't say I like it much but if anyones on who needs to bump up their friends than add me if you like.

noooo, all my friends have started using myspace and facebook. It's annoying. They keep asking me to sign up but i refuse, probably cus i will end up being addicted and waste my time away on it just like they do. I all ready waste a lot of time on gbatemp, xbox forums varies other gaming sites so i don't need another time waster. Just my Opinion thats all.

I like Facebook better than Myspace since it doesn't have *as much* shit on it, although I don't see how you could get addicted to something like that, even when you have tons of friends to talk to. It's kinda boring.

My little brother has met a few people to have sex with off of facebook. Not my kind of thing but there you go...pedophiles must really like it.

I think that facebook is bad for society because it makes socializing too easy and you have a neat pile of 'friends' that you collect like pokemon cards. It makes it easy to only talk to people that you can tolerate and you don't have to put up with annoying people. Putting up with annoying people is an essential skill to have I think...if we don't tolerate then it leads to a whole range of social problems. Myspace is just as bad if not worse.

Most people don't use it like that ^ but some facebook junkies are fucking themselves up more than they can imagine. Perhaps i'm going a bit overboard? yes perhaps. but, perhaps not also!
