(Opening of the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2007)

If you enjoy funny songs take a listen to this one that was performed at the opening of the Melbourne Comedy Gala 2007. It's by Tim Minchin who is absolutely hilarious [IMG]

The second half of the song is about Playstation 3's and starving Africans, it's incredibly funny. I thought because of the gaming content you'd enjoy watching this brilliant Aussie musician [IMG]

The Comedy Gala helped raise money for the charity 'Oxfam' to help starving nations, it's pretty incredible how Tim Minchin weaves it into both the songs he did that night and turns it into something funny while still making you want to donate. The second song in which he closed the night is called 'Fuck the poor' is also great. Check it out too:

I think it dances that line where you know they don't mean it. It's a comedy charity drive to raise money for the very cause he's singing about, so he obviously supports helping these people. That's what makes it humour rather than racism, you know he doesn't believe what he's saying and as viewers, neither should we.

Finally some replies [IMG] I love Tim Minchin as you can probably tell.

Here's another brilliant song of his which I really enjoy:

Haha, I've been trawling youtube for half an hour and now everything I read on here sounds in my head with an Australian accent [IMG]
