EZFlash Omega DE Save Issue (Previously Resolved?)

I bought a new ODE rev B a few months ago, and just noticed that I've been having some save issues with some games. For example, Link to the past complains all my save slots are corrupted, and trying to create a new save just fails. My issues seem to be exactly the same as this thread from a few years ago, but it seems like they resolved it with a firmware patch a while ago. I wanted to ask if anyone has information on fixing this since it was supposed to have been fixed already? I'm running the latest rev 7 firmware and have tried various trouble shooting steps like different SD card etc.

EDIT: Okay so I was a bit too optimistic. The files no longer say they are corrupted on the load screen, but I am still unable to save during/in the games for some reason. I'm not sure exactly why this is happening, and why the behavior is different between different carts.

How about delete the sav file in the SAVER folder?

Yes I tried that too. The issues remains on both carts though the behavior is slightly different between them as I said previously.

I confirm that this problem exists, zelda link to the past creates an save with an error, this should be caused by the changes we made to the eeprom simulation in FW7, this problem will be fixed in the next FW version.

Please post your rom's name and language version, hash value, I'll do a test myself.

The rom is the European version, and I am using English (though I’ve tried US and JP and the result is the same). The md5 is 9edf4f6e19d901d470aa1117cb0372b3. I got the file off of wowroms.

GT Advance 3: Pro Concept Racing also fails when saving data. It says "EEPROM VERIFY ERROR".

Yeah there are a lot of games that suffer from this issue. I think there is a list in the old thread I “linked” in the original post that compiles most of them. Hopefully the next firmware will fix the issue for all of them.
