Hacking EZflash IV nor and backlit original gba.

Hello,
When I try My ez4 on my modded gba, I can't write or erase the nor memory.
But it works when using it on my gba sp.
It seem that the problem is with the backlit mod of the gba.
Maybe not enough voltage for the write or erase operation on the nor memory.
I saw some people having the same problem with their own modded gba.

How can I solve the problem?

I guess it could be a current draw/Voltage drop issue, it shouldn't as even official carts should also be able to handle rumble. On the other hand if you have tapped the cart rail to power the light then it could be more possible. Is there an option to disable the backlight in your mod?
What about if you turn the sound down and plug in the charger (assuming you have such a setup).

I had not seen this quirk before (the closest tends to be loader issues with people using the wrong version for their cart). I shall have to remember it this.
