I am using the EZ4 client to patch ROM.s for my GBA. I want to patch some homebrew games and software, but the "README" was unclear on how to do that. Can someone walk me through it?
    Thanks.

Your EZ4Client should (hopefully) have come with a "HOMEBREW AND DLDI" folder. Look in there.

I had that folder but nothing was in it. I re-downloaded it and the stuff appeared. I guess the download was interrupted before. Thx.

That depends entirely upon what homebrew you are using.

If you are using the fixed emulators kit ( http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12660 ) then it will likely have taken care of everything for you and you just get to copy them across.

Some homebrew will want to be patched with EZ4client (now the emulators are taken care of this is not a whole lot). I did not add much homebrew to the rom name list so you will probably want to add a name in the top left corner of the program. Alternatively use the SRAM patch options of the programs I link next and copy the resulting file across plus make a save file (I usually just copy, paste and rename an existing save file).

Some homebrew will come with a broken or absent GBA header. This varies wildly but http://www.no-intro.org/tools.htm is great for fixing and http://www.gameboy-advance.net/rom_tools/flash_advance_toolkit.htm if the header is completely absent (some of the music programs being the most notable for this).

There should be a carts thread that lists different info for getting all the different carts working and such, like the VM thread.
