Hacking Ez4 microsd slow saves

i had a 1gb kingston for over a year everything works fine... i upgraded to 2gb crucial microsd for my ez4 lite. no all the save games take forever to write to the memory card and i cant host a contra 4 game i am convinced the hardware is causing lag somehow i benchmarked both cards with sandra the speeds are the around the same for both cards. i tried to change the cluster size but xp will only let me choose 64k or 32k and im not even sure this will help anything. can anyone offer some help?

    @SylverReZ find me ONE community that is free of drama and politics. even video games forums (like this one) have politics section. and for some reason gamers still take consoles/brands wars seriously. even as a kid i never took the console wars bait despite being a nintendo kid.

Unfortunately it's the good, comfy forums that ended up dead or shut down, especially because of internet centralization.
