I tried to post a reply on sosuke but gave a blank screen

Could you please give a little more info?
1.Where is this error happening?
2.What error is it giving you?
3.When does it crash (Before loading client or after it's loaded)

I before it loads it crashs

I had the same problem

but got it fixed

What i did

Downloaded first client Alpha 4 (no name field showed)
Loaded it
then same with 1.02

Then got annoyed and tried using the supercard sd software (doesn't work for ez4

)

then tried the latest and it worked

I believe a Dll got corrupted

If above fails Check bugnot's post

My suggestion is a bit grand but it's a solution none the less.

I just finished doing the testing so I know it'll work in a pinch.

Are you ready? Here it is:

execute the EZ4_client from within a Virtual Machine.

I know it's either a crazy idea or you have no flipping idea what I'm talking about.

I can't really help you much more than that though.

Read up on VMware or Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.

Here's the idea of the software: they create another layer within your existing operating system. This layer allows you to install another operating system. This "guest" system will be a clean install. So it's like re-installing windows without re-installing windows. Of course you need a somewhat beefy system to use this software. 2.5ghz, 1gig Ram, 10 gigs free HDD and of course a license for the Host software. You may be able to find an existing VM pre-compiled somewhere that you could use with VMware viewer which is free.

I just post this answer for everyone and anyone who stumbles across this thread. I'm a VM junkie so it's an easy solution for me.

Good day.

Thank mate I'll give it a shot. I've had some virus's on my computer I've cleaned them off think your right it's corrupted a windows system file.

Edit: I've managed to get it working I cleaned the bugs off my machine, performed a sfc.exe /scannow and it fixed the problem.

Thanks for your input though
