Hacking EZ Flash Omega (normal) boot up turns into a loop on DSlite

For some reason, my EZ Flash Omega just refuses to properly launch on my DSlite. It works perfectly fine on both my AGS-001 and 101, but when it comes to the EZ Flash screen pops up, it will just enter a continuous loop. The only way to stop it is to hold down the Start and Select buttons, to enter Safe Mode. Doing "Test Card" brings up the following:

read S98 ID ERROR!!!!
END

Sram error!"

What exactly is going on? A normal GBA cartridge works fine on my DS. Is the specific EZ Flash cart that I have just broken?

Yes. the diagnose info is right, your card is defected. please contact your dealer for the warranty.
