Hello,

I'm one of the persons that is affected by the freezing issues on the Omega DE.
I'm on FW: 1 K: 1.01
So i'm waiting on the FW that will finally fix that issue.
However yesterday i discovered maybe another bug?

The Omega DE will boot normally if the GBA is just powered on but whenever i quickly turn my GBA on, then off and on again the Omega DE will not boot into the menu, instead it shows me a firmware update prompt.

In there it says: Current firmware version: V00, Will be updated to version: V01
I always canceled it so far.

This all happens even without a microsd card inserted.

very fast turn on/off console may cause the card lost current firmware. v0 is the failsafe firmware, if you encounter this issue, just follow the screen upgrade the firmware to v01.

Ok so it's a normal behaviour. I just followed your advice and updated the firmware but it seems it actually makes no difference if i update or just cancel when i "force" this update screen.

Anyways thanks for the reply and i guess this thread could be closed now.
