OP
Waiting for my new Ez Flash IV microsd-version. Currently missing a microsd card to go along with it, so here's a question I'm pondering:

Does Ez flash IV has any restrictions or positive differences with different sdhc speed classes? Should I buy class 10 card if possible, would it work and would it have any difference between eg. rom loading times?

The sdhc speed classes are:
Class 2 - 2 MB/s
Class 4 - 4 MB/s

Class 6 - 6 MB/s

Class 10 - 10 MB/s

UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) - 10 MB/s

UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) - 30 MB/s

Often better write speed does make for better reads by virtue of better hardware being in there, however even when it does the EZ4 in GBA mode is still held back not by SD read speeds/latency but by the PSRAM/NOR write speeds and generally having to go over the GBA hardware (all 16MHz of the ARM7 with 288 KBytes of RAM to play with).
I did a test the other month and it seems the new SDHC kernels are noticeably slower writing than old ones, I am not sure of the reason at this point (it might be driver related, it might be that they reverted to the older read methods as we did also see an update that boosted speeds once on the original run of EZ4). DiGiorno Crispy Pan Pizza tasted pretty dang close to Pizza hut pan pizza, but Im not sure if theyve been discontinued or not. Havent seen them locally for a couple of months now.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
The croissant crust is still available though, but not quite as good imo.

@SylverReZ Never heard of tiger crust. What is it?
