I have gameboy micro and ez flash iv mini sd card.

My problem is that games are not saving at all (advance wars), or the save is disappearing after a few hours... (thps2)
I don't know where is the problem.

I'm using ez flash client to copy games and create save files...

If anyone have info about this problem or flasher - please help.

But why for example in advance wars there are no saves.
I'm saving in the game but when i turn console off i have to start from the beginning.

And in Tony's and Harvest Moon save works at least for a few hours.

edit:

ok. save of thps2 is gone again...
it's probably battery. but if anyone know how to save in advance wars with this flasher?
what kind of save it is and what should be the size of the file?

edit2:
i found this topic (sorry for not searching before)

enable reset function within ezflash client. run the game and save as usual... right before u switch off your micro, do a soft reset... i forgot the combination button but i guess L+R+UP+A... it will jump to main menu screen and auto save window will appear... it will then save your file to sd card successfully... i hope it help...

The soft reset it's: UP + L + A + B

But it didn't really help. I already know that this battery is rechargable.
So i tmay solve the problem a little.

But I still don't know what to do with Advance Wars.
It just don't want save.

I even wrote rom in to the NOR memory. But after the soft/hard reset it don't even pretending to save.

When playing from mini sd card it's "pretending" to save.
But after starting the game it's asking for my name again.
And no mission is completed...

Are there any patches for that game or something?

Thanks for answers so far.

Edit:

Maybe is there a sleep mode for GBM with this flasher??
I could play with a sleep mode...

Not sure if you've figured this out yet, but first of all:

- Make sure that you are "copying" the games over using the EZ-Flash 4 software (I know, it's annoying...) instead of Windows explorer. It has to patch the roms for saving, as well as creating a save file in the "Saver" folder on your sd-card.
- The EZ-Flash 4 doesn't have real-time saves, which means that it will save your game in memory, and then the next time you start up, it will write the save onto your flash card. You WILL NOT be able to load your data if you don't let it do this. Try playing a bit, saving, then turning off your gba and turning it back on. If you get a message about holding L to skip writing a save, and then it saves a file for 10-30 seconds (can take a while, this is annoying too) then it has written the save and everything should be good. If it hasn't done this, then your rom is probably not patched to save.

Good luck!
