I have been reading all kinds of information about flash carts for GBA here on the forum and on google too.

I know that the deluxe edition will need a mod to fit at a gba and that is has more PSRAM and more Norflash capacity then the "gba" edition .

But for exclusive use for a GBA the the deluxe edition is a better option (will use the extra psram and extra nor capacity) or both carts have similar performance on a GBA.

Aside from the supercards (and clones of them like the early cyclo cards) if it runs on the GBA it will run fine.

The lite deluxe has 256Mbit of PSRAM which is the size of the largest dumped GBA game. There were not many 256 titles and even among those there were not many great ones but there are a few worth looking at (most people go in for Mother 3, Riviera - The Promised Land and Yggdra Union although the PSP version is a better choice for the latter two). Equally it is effectively 16 megs of free space that can be used without issue so many ROM hackers (and people are taking to hacking the GBA- doubly so for non English languages) will use the space. The regular EZ4 can still run these games but you will have to go one at a time (or wait the several minutes it takes to burn such a game to the NOR each time) so it is entirely up to you. Price wise it seems the few lite deluxes still available go for a bit but then again so do EZ4s.

List of all 256Mbit commercial GBA roms, if you only want English a handful of these games have North American releases at the 128Mbit size.
    Warning: Spoilers inside!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Ok so the deluxe is alot better in loading times for roms>128Mb but for roms <=128Mb the performance is the same in both carts.

Thanks for the clarification, and for the list of games larger then 128mb.

    Best regards
