Hacking EZ Flash Advance Linker

Hi there...

Some time ago I had a GBA:SP and bought the EZFA for it.

Long story short I lost (or someone stole) my SP with flash cart in it.

I've since graduated to a DS and have a EZ Flash V.

So, long story short here I am sitting with the EZFA linker cable.

My question is this:

1) Can a friend buy a cheap cart somewhere that's compatible with this linker? So that they would then be able to use the equip with their SP?
2) If not, is this linker cable good to anyone?

The cables do have a habit of breaking so someone may be interested somewhere.

As for EZFA carts most places do not sell them any more and the more modern ones go for less than what you probably forked over for a card.

You can use it for stuff like dumping (GBA) roms and retrieving/restoring game saves. That's useful isn't it?
