Hacking extract individual files from nand backup?

mornin folks'

is there a way to extract a single file from a nand backup? my rb2 save is no longer seen by the game, and while i have diligently made periodic nand backups, if an option exists to restore just a portion of it, as opposed to all of it, overwriting the entire nand, i'd be all for it.

run chkdsk or your sd card. if that dont fix it, just delete the 00010000/whatever folder from the nand and restore it. where "whatever" is the ID4 of the game in HEX.
