    Hey i have a question about using my external hdd. I am going to use it for loading games. Its a 320gb wd passport essential. What i am needing to know is when i format it to work with wbfs is there anyway i can format a part of it to use as a storage device still? I use my 16gb usbdrive at the moment but when i try to put other things on it it say not formated. Can i devide my ext hdd? Thanks for any help.

    you sure can. do you use windows xp? if you do, i can guide you through the process.

    If you prefer WBFS, but still need other data on the drive as well, you'll need to repartition the drive (try this). Then you can format 1 partition to WBFS and one to something else.


    You can also format the full drive to FAT32/NTFS and put both the games and data on that [​IMG]

    The guide I linked will tell you how to repartition the drive

    If you want the FAT32 only thingy, just format the whole drive to that and use Wii Backup Manager to add games
