    Hi,

I'm trying to hookup an external hdd enclosure with usb to a rgh xbox. Would any external enclosure work?

I'm asking that, because someone in his user review has said that it doesn't work on xbox 360, but i'm not sure if he meant for a non-rgh xbox or a rgh xbox...

Any recommendations for another external enclosure that has a fan?

    Need your input : (

You sure you want an external HDD?
You can upgrade the internal one to 1/2TB (2.5 inch) and dump all of your games on the internal.
Not only does it looks neater, it also is faster then USB2.0.

However if you insist on using an external, every enclosure will work.
There's no difference in which one works and which one doesn't.
(some 2.5inch ones need 2 USB's for power and data)

With your answer I'm not sure anymore lol. I did not know that or think that I could replace the original 250GB Microsoft internal HDD that's currently in there! I see there are 1TB 2.5in HDD SATA2 available.
Hmm but how would I transfer FSD, Dashlaunch and the "boot" record from my current internal HDD to the new 1TB HDD? Just go to FSD File Manager and copy/paste to USB then to the 1TB with a PC?

    Partially.

If you replace the internal HDD then you'll need to set it up again.
I upped an XeXMenu Live CD to Filetrip along with a pastebin thread.
If you follow that then you can set everything up again.

As for your current stuff on the drive.
Just FTP into your console and back everything up to your computer.
Then you can copy everything back to the newly installed drive ;]

Alternatively, you san set up FSD and FTP into your console and then copy the contents of every folder back to the HDD.
For example: you delete the contents of HDD/Content and replace them with the contents of your backupped Content folder from your old HDD.

    Edit:
I think you could also use a transfer cable to copy everything back to the console but that only works for folders that are in the stock MS folders.
You can also hook up the HDD to an SATA-USB adapter and then plug it into the console.
Copying everything to the new internal drive ;]

    That's the one yes.
I upped the original CD so it's an outdated version of Dashlaunch/FSD/others but it does the job ;]
The hacked emulator however is up to date since there's only 1 version out there.
