It looks like nintendo set a 3 page limit for the number of save files (look under data management of wii settings) you can have on your wii... anyone know of a way to extend this?

    I don't think there is a limit
Why would they limit the amount of saves? That wouldn't be very smart

Maybe it's like this on older system menu versions? I don't have this problem.

I had all three pages filled with 200 blocks open, went into Pro Evolution Soccer for the first time, and it said my system memory was full. I deleted some old save files (for like the nintendo channel and stuff) and then it worked. so........ idk.

I've got a launch day Wii, so it's not something Nintendo did.

No info though so no one can really help.

I have a launch day wii on sysmenu 4.1

So it's not either or those... lol
idk, maybe PES10 takes up over 150 blocks for its save file? I'll have to check on that one. If nobody else is having the issue though, I'm most likely just being stupid here.

The wii likes to keep more than 200 blocks free. A lot of games will consider it "full" if there is less than that available.

For Wii saves you can fill up ALL the blocks it says in the Wii data management. Any space that is reserved can't be viewed here.

So if in data management it says you have 250 blocks free you can use all 250 of them for saves, or if it says 25 blocks free you can use all of them. Reserved space (for ios, menus etc) can't be seen through the Wii user interface.

I was talking about certain games that will complain if there's less than 200 free blocks, such as RB2.
