Hacking Experiencing variety of issues with vWii: Please help!

Hey, I've made an account for this website to seek help with the issues I'm experiencing running Wii and GameCube backups on vWii with my Wii U. Whilst Wii U games are running fine I'm experiencing a number of issues with vWii.

  1. My wii remotes are repeatedly dying and desyncing when running homebrew apps (Homebrew Channel, USB Loader GX, WiiFlow), at times being impossible to re-sync leading to me having to reset the console. They work fine on Wii U games and the Wii System Menu.
  2. I am unable to launch GameCube games stored on HDD through WiiFlow and USB Loader GX, with USB Loader stating: 'To run GameCube games with Nintendont you need to set your 'Main GameCube Path' to an USB FAT32 partition'; whilst with WiiFlow on 'Select Partition' for GameCube, it does not allow me to set it to USB, with only SD available.
  3. Whilst Wii Backups were loading before my endeavours to get GameCube backups working, they now refuse to load, with WiiFlow through the Homebrew Channel bringing me back to the System Menu, and WiiFlow through the Channel Forwarder reloading WiiFlow.
Any help would be amazing, I've tried all I can think of!

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
