This is a relatively new laptop, and I'm having some tearing issues when I watch 10bit video. To watch videos, I installed the CCCP and Media Player Classic. I still experience tearing.

This morning, I updated my video card driver to the newest beta from NVIDIA. After this update, I was unable to change it so Media Player Classic used the NVIDIA video card instead of Intel Integrated Graphics. Before the update, however, I still experienced tearing from 10bit video even when using the NVIDIA video card.

    Any ideas?

If it's not graphics drivers and it's not the codec (you can test that by running it in VLC, which doesnt use codecs), then it's probably the video itself that was badly recorded/compressed/downloaded.
