I looked online for some solutions, and I'm desperate. I was hoping to get the attention of @Cyan to help out with this since I don't know how to DM people and I'm new here (in case it wasn't obvious, this is my first post). Some solutions are telling me to install WAD files, but I'm afraid of bricking my wii so I don't want to risk that. I just wanna know if there's a solution for my USB Loader GX so that it won't just immediately show me the "Exception (dsi)" message when I try to boot it up. I've looked everywhere but I honestly don't even know what I'm suppose to look for. Is/Are there better loaders to play wii games on? Because I don't know how to do any of this. I got it to work last time, but my old SD card was no longer being read so I went and bought a new one and hoped I could play again, but now I'm receiving errors.

Are there new/recent WAD files that I can download from? The thing is, the ones that recommended me the WAD files come from a YT video and Cyan doesn't recommend using videos as a reference. So I don't really know what I'm suppose to do. The files are from a cIOS v8 and I'm on v10

Like I said, I've looked everywhere. I just don't know what's a proper solution. If I do install the WAD files, I wanna make sure I'm getting the right ones

Some were here on gbatemp, others on reddit where they recommended that it might be a controller issue or to reinstall d2x-cIOS, the WAD files were from Tech James
